A Vinitaly 2023 l’azienda SeiTerre ha presentato tutte le novità delle linee “Traditional” e “Orizzonti”.

Vinitaly è la fiera del vino italiano con la massima visibilità mondiale.  Dalle piccole cantine ai grandi brand, tutte le sfumature e le declinazioni del vino italiano possono essere trovate dai compratori internazionali. In questo senso esserci è sicuramente un privilegio. Anche quest’anno SEITERRE VITICOLTORI DAL 1877 era presente con il suo spazio rinnovato e con il nuovo logo, che sono stati orgogliosi di presentare al pubblico insieme alle due nuove linee di prodotti.

Cinque generazioni di Viticoltori

La Famiglia Rizzi inizia nel 1877 ad Avio in Trentino a coltivare la vite e produrre vino. Luigino Rizzi, attuale proprietario si sposta nel veronese dal Trentino negli anni ottanta per acquisire nuovi vigneti in aree a vocazione vitivinicola che soddisfino le esigenze dei suoi progetti enologici, fino a raggiungere i 300 ettari attuali di proprietà esclusiva della Famiglia. Se l’azienda, che oggi ha la sua sede nei pressi del Lago di Garda, da un lato vanta più di un secolo di esperienza alle spalle, davanti a sé ha una nuova generazione che si è appassionata alla tradizione di famiglia e che porta avanti, con la stessa passione dei suoi avi, il mestiere di vignaiolo. Anna, la figlia di Luigino e Sandra, sta curando lo sviluppo dei mercati esteri ed il marketing, promuovendo sostenibilità e valori territoriali, rappresenta il volto futuro dell’azienda.

Le novità presentate a VINITALY 2023

Da poco tempo il logo dell’azienda SEITERRE VITICOLTORI DAL 1877 è stato rinnovato, a sottolineare l’inizio di una nuova fase, che vede come protagoniste anche nuove linee di prodotti: la linea “SEITERRE TRADITIONAL” e la linea “SEITERRE ORIZZONTI” derivati dai vigneti di proprietà della famiglia Rizzi.

Racchiusi in questi nomi, ci sono i due principali elementi della filosofia SEITERRE VITICOLTORI DAL 1877, ovvero tradizione e sguardi sul futuro.

Queste etichette sono vini destinati ad essere ambasciatori all’estero del brand e della tradizione dei territori di appartenenza.

La linea “SEITERRE TRADITIONAL” si esprime con una serie di DOC come LUGANA, CHIARETTO di BARDOLINO, CUSTOZA e PINOT GRIGIO DELLE VENEZIE pensate per celebrare i territori che la Famiglia Rizzi ha scelto come base operativa e per la propria quotidianità familiare.

La Limited Edition “Gigi Rizzi Collection”

Luigino Rizzi (n.d.r.: chiamato ‘Gigi’ da familiari, collaboratori ed amici) ha sentito la necessità di riassumere il risultato di oltre quarant’anni di esperienza nel vino in una Limited Edition, la “GIGI RIZZI COLLECTION”. Tra le etichette già in barrique e quelle ancora ‘non svelabili’, quella a cui è più legato è certamente la “GIGI RIZZI COLLECTION N°01” un Lugana DOC Superiore, frutto della vendemmia di uva Turbiana. Un vino ottenuto partendo da una accurata selezione della produzione di uno dei migliori vigneti dell’azienda, situati sul Lago di Garda nella zona storica di produzione.
Il risultato dell’affinamento in barrique, grazie all’utilizzo di legni francesi pregiati di diverse tostature ha permesso di rispondere in maniera positiva alle aspettative. Ne risulta un vino perfettamente bilanciato ed equilibrato.

Sostenibilità

Da fine 2021 SEITERRE VITICOLTORI DAL 1877 fa parte di SQNPI “Sistema Qualità Nazionale di Produzione Integrata”, che nel rispetto delle peculiarità climatico/ambientali, colturali e fitosanitarie che contraddistinguono le diverse zone agrarie del territorio italiano indica con disciplinari i criteri d’intervento, le soluzioni agronomiche e le strategie da adottare per la difesa delle colture ed il controllo delle infestanti, nell’ottica di un minor impatto verso l’uomo e l’ambiente.

Poliedricità

SEITERRE VITICOLTORI DAL 1877 è una realtà poliedrica ed è anche Hospitality, con due agriturismi, la Tenuta San Leone nei pressi del Lago di Garda e la Tenuta Montebello nel Monferrato, due aree di incredibile bellezza.

La famiglia Rizzi ha ottenuto inoltre un matrimonio perfetto tra il vino e la birra che produce nel birrificio agreste annesso alla Tenuta San Leone: una Grape Ale in cui la birra viene mostata con il mosto di Turbiana, il vitigno base del Lugana DOC.

La premiata birra mostata ‘L’inevitabile’ è solo una dei tanti prodotti di un birrificio che produce con orgoglio il proprio orzo.

At Vinitaly 2023 the Sei Terre company presented all the novelties of the Traditional and Orizzonti lines.

Vinitaly is the Italian wine fair with the greatest worldwide visibility. From small wineries to big brands, all the nuances and variations of Italian wine can be found by international buyers. In this sense, being there is certainly a privilege. Also this year SEITERRE VITICOLTORI DAL 1877 was present with its renovated space and with the new logo, which they were proud to present to the public together with the two new product lines.

Five generations of winemakers

The Rizzi family began in 1877 in Avio in Trentino to cultivate vines and produce wine. Luigino Rizzi, the current owner, moved to the Veronese area from Trentino in the eighties to acquire new vineyards in wine-growing areas that meet the needs of his winemaking projects, up to the current 300 hectares of exclusive property of the family. If the company, which today has its headquarters near Lake Garda, on the one hand boasts more than a century of experience behind it, in front of it it has a new generation that is passionate about the family tradition and that carries on, with the same passion of his ancestors, the profession of winemaker. Anna, the daughter of Luigino and Sandra, is taking care of the development of foreign markets and marketing, promoting sustainability and territorial values, she represents the future face of the company.

The SEITERRE VITICOLTORI DAL 1877 company logo was recently renewed, to underline the beginning of a new phase, which also sees new product lines as protagonists: the “SEITERRE TRADITIONAL” line and the “SEITERRE ORIZZONTI” line derived from the vineyards owned by the Rizzi family.

Enclosed in these names, there are the two main elements of the SEITERRE VITICOLTORI SINCE 1877 philosophy, i.e. tradition and eyes on the future.

These labels are wines destined to be ambassadors abroad of the brand and of the tradition of the territories to which they belong.

The “SEITERRE TRADITIONAL” line is expressed with a series of DOCs such as LUGANA, CHIARETTO di BARDOLINO, CUSTOZA and PINOT GRIGIO DELLE VENEZIE designed to celebrate the territories that the Rizzi family has chosen as an operational base and for their daily family life.

The Limited Edition “Gigi Rizzi Collection”

Luigino Rizzi (editor’s note: called ‘Gigi’ by family, collaborators and friends) felt the need to summarize the result of over forty years of experience in wine in a Limited Edition, the “GIGI RIZZI COLLECTION”. Among the labels already in barriques and those still ‘unrevealable’, the one to which he is most attached is certainly the “GIGI RIZZI COLLECTION N°01” a Lugana DOC Superiore, fruit of the Turbiana grape harvest. A wine obtained starting from a careful selection of the production of one of the best vineyards of the company, located on Lake Garda in the historic production area.

The result of the aging in barrique, thanks to the use of fine French woods of different toasts, has made it possible to respond positively to expectations. The result is a perfectly balanced and balanced wine.

Sustainability

Since the end of 2021, SEITERRE VITICOLTORI DAL 1877 has been part of the SQNPI “National Integrated Production Quality System”, which, in compliance with the climatic/environmental, cultural and phytosanitary peculiarities that distinguish the various agricultural areas of the Italian territory, indicates the intervention criteria with disciplinary measures, the agronomic solutions and strategies to be adopted for the defense of crops and the control of weeds, with a view to a lower impact on man and the environment.

Versatility

SEITERRE VITICOLTORI SINCE 1877 is a multifaceted reality and is also Hospitality, with two farmhouses, the San Leone Estate near Lake Garda and the Montebello Estate in Monferrato, two areas of incredible beauty.

The Rizzi family has also obtained a perfect marriage between the wine and the beer it produces in the rural brewery annexed to the San Leone estate: a Grape Ale in which the beer is musted with Turbiana must, the basic grape variety of Lugana DOC.

The award-winning mash ‘The Inevitable’ is just one of many products from a brewery that proudly produces its own barley.
