L’Azienda Agricola Verbena è ormai diventata una delle mete più ambite dell’enoturismo toscano, non solo per le degustazioni offerte dalla sua cantina ma anche per la possibilità di pernottare in un meraviglioso casale del XVIII secolo convertito in un agriturismo dalla famiglia Nannetti che, durante il recupero, ne ha voluto conservare la struttura originale e tutti i suoi particolari. Un vero e proprio gioiello dell’architettura rurale toscana con ambienti ricavati dalla torretta, con una loggia e il vecchio fienile, che permetteranno a chi vi soggiorna di vivere in un tempo passato e in un territorio unico, ricco di storia e tradizioni enogastronomiche. Il casale è completamente immerso nel verde delle colline di Montalcino, borgo a pochi chilometri di distanza dall’azienda, altra tappa immancabile per i turisti del vino. La famiglia Nannetti e lo staff dell’azienda saranno lieti di illustrare durante la degustazione dei suoi prodotti, anche il territorio, la storia e ovviamente le caratteristiche dei vini tra cui i famosi Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Docg e Brunello di Montalcino Docg. Anche il Rosso di Montalcino Doc e l’IGT Toscana Rosso sono molto apprezzati per il loro sapore deciso. Oltre ai vini sarà possibile degustare la Grappa di Brunello ottenuta da vinacce di Sangiovese, vitigno di origine del Brunello, il Vin Santo nato dall’uvaggio di Malvasia e Trebbiano, con colore paglierino profumo intenso ed armonico e l’Olio Extravergine di Oliva, in una piccola produzione dal sapore delicato e fresco.

The Verbena holyday farm is now one of the most coveted destinations of the Tuscan wine-tourism, not only for the wine tastings organized in the cellar but also for the possibility to spend the night in a wonderful farmhouse from the XVIII century that the Nannetti family has now converted into a holyday farm, preserving the original building in all its details. A real architectural jewel of the rural Tuscany, with the different rooms obtained from the small tower, with the loggia and the old barn, that will make the tourist feel the history and tradition of such a unique territory. The estate is fully surrounded by the green hills of the nearby hamlet of Montalcino, another inevitable attraction for the wine-tourists. During the tastings, the Nannetti family and the staff will be happy to introduce you to the history, the territory and the characteristics of their wines, the famous Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Docg and Brunello di Montalcino Docg among others. The Rosso di Montalcino Doc and the IGT Toscana Rosso are also much appreciated for their strong taste. Not only wines, but it will also be possible to taste the Brunello’s Grappa, obtained from the Sangiovese’s marc, the Brunello’s grape variety; the Vin Santo produced with the Malvasia and Trebbiano varieties, pale-yellow in color with an intense aroma, and the Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, a small production with a delicate and fresh taste.
