Vini di classe e grande prestigio frutto del grande amore della famiglia Rinaldi per il proprio territorio. Sono i nettari di inconfondibile carattere e innata classe di Villa Orfei, solida realtà del panorama enologico toscano che oggi festeggia un nuovo importante traguardo: un nuovo reimpianto.
“Portiamo a termine l’opera di rinnovamento dei nostri vigneti – racconta Stefano Rinaldi, proprietario di Villa Orfei insieme al fratello Fabrizio. Un progetto in abbiamo creduto molto e che oggi si concretizza con un nuovo reimpianto di Sangiovese. Con l’obiettivo di salvaguardare e di valorizzare il patrimonio vinicolo della nostra famiglia e mantenendo sempre la nostra politica di rapporto resa/qualità, abbiamo infatti provveduto a reimpiantare tutti i vigneti e a privilegiare soprattutto i monovitigni autoctoni. Un investimento grazie al quale oggi, anche grazie alle ottimali caratteristiche del suolo di origine calcareo-argillosa e all’esposizione est/sud-est dei nostri vitigni, riusciamo a produrre vini di grande personalità e buona struttura. Il nuovo vigneto darà i primi frutti tra 3 anni per arrivare al massimo della produttività fra 5-6 anni”.

“We carry out the renovation of our vineyards – says Stefano Rinaldi, owner of Villa Orfei together with his brother Fabrizio. A project in which we believed a lot and that today is realized with a new re-implantation of Sangiovese. With the aim of safeguarding and enhancing the wine heritage of our family and always maintaining our policy of yield/quality, we took care to replant all the vineyards and privilege above all the native grape varieties. An investment that today allow us, thanks to the excellent soil characteristics of limestone-clay origin and the east/south-east exposure of our vines, to produce wines of great personality and good structure. The new vineyard will give its first fruits in 3 years, in 5-6 years for the maximum productivity“.
