Non ci sarà – purtroppo – nessuna fiera quest’anno ad accompagnarci verso la primavera. Ecco perché, allora, a Villa a Sesta, azienda di Castelnuovo Berardenga, nel Chianti Classico, il pensiero corre già verso l’imbottigliamento.
“In anni “normali”, questi erano i giorni dedicati ad alcuni tra gli eventi più importanti a cui siamo soliti partecipare – dicono dalla cantina -. Ci manca incontrare colleghi, operatori del settore e – soprattutto – winelovers durante i diversi appuntamenti, da BuyWine a Terre di Toscana, fino a Chianti Classico Collection, dove avevamo occasione di presentare in anteprima le nostre annate. Per ora, ci limitiamo a un saluto virtuale. Ma i nostri vini, loro sì che hanno bisogno della nostra presenza e non conoscono distanziamento!”
Tra fine marzo e inizio aprile sarà il momento di imbottigliare l’annata 2018 di Vas Toscana IGT e delle etichette di Chianti Classico, mentre per il Ripaltella Chianti Superiore toccherà alla 2019. Un passaggio, quello dell’imbottigliamento, da portare avanti con cura e senza lasciare nulla al caso, come sa bene chi, da anni, si occupa di vino. Le bottiglie resteranno poi ad affinare all’interno della grande cantina – oltre 5mila mq – costruita secondo un disegno che mescola l’innovazione degli impianti alla tradizione di una terra profondamente legata al vino da secoli. Un luogo da segnarsi per una visita, non appena sarà possibile.
Spring is coming and in Villa a Sesta everyone is already thinking about bottling
The winery, located among the sweet Chianti Classico hills, is ready to bottle the new vintages that will then refine for severals months in the bottle, just like the tradition demands.
Unfortunately, this year there won’t be any event accompanying us towards the spring. That’s why in Villa a Sesta, the winery from Castelnuovo della Berardenga, located in the Chianti Classico, the thought is already going towards the bottling process.
“In “normal” years these current days were dedicated to some of the most important events to which we were used to participate – they say in the winery- We miss meeting colleagues, professionals and especially our fellow winelovers during the different scheduled appointments. From BuyWine to Terre di Toscana and we cannot forget the Chianti Classico Collection. During all of these events we had the opportunity to present in preview our vintages. For now, we only can give you a virtual greeting. But when it comes our wines, well all we can say is that they need our presence and they do not need social distancing!”
Between the end of March and the start of April it will be the moment to bottle the year 2018 of the Vas Toscana IGT and of the Chianti Classico’s labels, while for the Ripaltella Chianti Superiore the bottling will happen for the year 2019. The operation of the bottling has to be made with care and attention, as these professionals of the wine world know very well. The bottles will then be kept to refine into the large cellar- which extends for more than 5 thousand square meters- built following a project which blends the innovation of the equipments and the tradition linked to a land which has been for ages bonded to wine. A place to keep in mind for a visit, whenever it will be possible.
