LE SODE DI SANT’ANGELO: THE BEGINNING OF A SUMMER MORE THAN SATISFACTORY

OPENED THE HARVEST SEASON WITH VERMENTINO, FOR THE MAREMMANA’S COMPANY IS THE TIME FOR THE RED WINES

“A quantity of over 20% compared to last year, with a production of wine and must more than 10 million hectoliters, and a heterogeneous quality”. According to the first estimates of Assoenologi, it seems that this year is destined to reverse the negative trend of 2017 presenting “average values referred to years of full production of wine”. Starting from the harvest that, starting 7-15 days late, is already giving great satisfaction to producers.

It knows something about it the Maremmana’s company Le Sode di Sant’Angelo, which inaugurated the harvest season with its Vermentino and which is now preparing to welcome the reds wines: “This production has started in the best way” – comment from company – “Thanks to the particular microclimate that our vineyards benefit from, the ripening of the grapes has been continuous and regular allowing us to harvest according to the timeframes specified. We have already collected the Vermentino and within ten days we will dedicate ourselves to the reds wines. Aware of our potential, we have high expectations for 2018, both in terms of quantity and quality “.

A framework that certainly does well to hope and which, as in the style of Le Sode di Sant’Angelo, promises to amaze.
